Making tax digital ready for 2019/20

From April 19 HMRC are looking to make VAT registered businesses use a “Making Tax digital” service to keep records digitally and use software to submit their VAT returns. The exact detail is yet to be released, however we will be on hand to provide advice when required.

Personal tax planning

We will cover the review of personal income, tax efficient remuneration planning, tax return completion, management of tax payments, capital gains tax and planning ideas and inheritance tax planning.

Resource & development (R&D) claims

Tax credits are a UK incentive to encourage companies to invest in R&D. You can reduce your company tax bill or claim payable cash credits as a proportion of the R&D expenditure.

Enterprise Investment (EIS) & Seed Investment (SEIS) Schemes

These HMRC backed schemes are designed to help smaller higher-risk trading companies raise finance by offering a range of tax relief of up to 50% to investors who purchase new shares in the relevant company.
