At Versa, we see accountancy services as the fundamental building blocks for any successfully run business. Always on hand, we’ll be your partner for the mandatory, from bookkeeping to VAT returns, to year-end and management accounts, payroll and corporate tax returns.

What does this service include?

Year end Accounts

Preparation and filing of your year end accounts and face to face meeting to review, discuss and sign off before submitting to Companies House and HMRC.

Management Accounts

Preparation of accounts on a monthly, quarterly or bi-annual basis, Face to face meeting to discuss business performance and trends vs targets, Tax planning discussion and management Packs can be sent to financiers such as Banks to support lending facilities that may be in place.

Bookkeeping

Regular assistance to ensure records of the financial affairs of your business are kept up to date and the implementation of online reporting systems such as QuickBooks to ensure regular & accurate Bank reconciliations.

VAT

Preparation, review and filing of your VAT returns – usually on a quarterly basis, however we have some clients who we provide this service for monthly. We will also ensure you are fully prepared for the launch of "Making Tax Digital"

Company tax return

Company tax will be discussed throughout the year to allow bespoke tax planning. Final sign off will typically take place at the year-end accounts meeting and then once agreed filed with HMRC.

Payroll

Preparation and filing of your businesses payroll (typically on a monthly basis) in line with the Real Time Information (RTI) guidelines. Employee Payslips, P45, P60 all produced as required and assistance with workplace pension requirements and filings.

Company secretarial

Registered office service, filing of confirmation statements, share transfers and Directorship changes.

Regulatory Financial Reporting

Preparation, review and filing of financial returns to regulatory body’s such as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for the UK and the National Futures Associations (NFA) for the USA.

Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)

Preparation, review and filing of monthly returns to HMRC (Including CIS suffered and CIS deducted from sub-contractors), verification of those subcontractors and processing of CIS refunds.
