Albie has been in accountancy for over 30 years, and joined Versa as a partner in March 2007. He controls all accounts and compliance matters for our clients. He specialises in FCA regulated clients and high-net-worth individuals, as well as overseeing all accounting work of the practice.

Albie qualified with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in March 1998, and became a Fellow in March 2003. He even manages his son’s football team and has a qualified for the The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football.

Jamie has over 17 years' experience in banking, finance and accountancy. At Versa, he is responsible for the proactive management of clients and ensures the business runs operationally and efficiently on a day-to-day basis. He offers clients bespoke advice on how to structure and present funding proposals, effectively manage risk, assist with cash flow management, and ensure all aspects of business, financial and tax planning are considered.

Jamie is a fellow of the Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers, he holds an Advanced Certificate in Credit and studied Business Management at Cranfield University for 4 years. He has a passion for charitable work and is on the Executive Steering Committee of the global Charity, Football for Peace.

Jeff has 50 years’ experience in finance and accountancy both in practice and commercially. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1974 and has specialised in small and medium-sized companies.

Jeff enjoys golf, cricket and football, as well as having a passion for charitable work.

Ellis joined Versa in March 2020 and has a broad range of tax knowledge across personal, business and corporation tax.

He started his career working at HMRC and gained his tax professional qualification there before qualifying as a chartered tax adviser in July 2018.

He has a good understanding of both the tax system and the business world, having studied International Business at Loughborough University. He can provide advice on a wide range of tax issues, helping you to ensure all tax issues are considered.

Usman is an experienced member of the Versa team and has a solid background in all aspects of the Accountancy. Usman joined Versa in July 2019, and deals with a wide range of clients in several different industries. He proactively assists his clients regularly on various matters including Accounts, Bookkeeping and Taxation.

Usman is currently studying towards his final papers of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), which be an excellent addition to his CV and compliment his many years of practical experience within the industry.

Sean has been with Versa for 2 years and supports the management team with Bank reconciliations, VAT and general administration. In his spare time Sean enjoys playing sports, running and hiking.

Claire is the Personal Assistant to the Directors. Claire has good attention to detail and she ensures that nothing slips through the net when it comes to her work. When not at work she enjoys spending time with friends and family and shopping.

Maggie joined Versa In September 2022 and is currently studying towards her AAT Level 4 at college. Maggie supports the management team with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, management accounts, VAT returns and general administration. In her spare time Maggie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, keeping fit and attending music concerts.
